the football club university (?) (Enschede #5)

Heloo guyss!
I am wondering..
How many times do you guys find yourselves suddenly having your mind flashback while doing nothing?
I was just having that moment, and then, in the mood to write it.
It is because I have already studying here for about 6 months, and I only have 6 more months to go (!)

My mind flew away to one moment when my friend asked me about what will I do after resign from job.
friend : "what actually you wanna do after this?"
me     : "master degree :D"
friend : "do you get the scholarship?"
me     : "yap finally!"
friend : "which country?
me     : "Netherlands!"
friend : "woww congratss! which city?"
me     : "Enschede, do you know it?"
friend : "Hmmm... I'm not sure. Which university?"
me     : "University of Twente"
friend : "AHHHH !!"
me     : "do you know it?"
friend : "yeahhh.. the football club!"

hahahahha..
The conversation almost goes that way when my friends asked me about where-and-which-university-I-will-enroll-my-master-degree.
I'm not into football game both in the real match and in the play station game, so it was quite surprised when they recognise my current university (also) because of the football team :D

Time goes by, questions have changed,
"How's the university?"

Well, if you wish to see an old-European typical building, unfortunately you won't see it guys..
Don't worry! you can enjoy that kind of building in many places in the Netherlands :)
Personally, I like the university style because it shows more to the modern and colorful buildings.
I think, it's quite huge university that makes me have to check map many times to find a particular building.
My favorite part of this uni is study places, which attractive and colorful.
also, the green neighborhood; so.. if I get bored, I ride my bike somewhere around the greeny places :'))
this spot, hahahha.. yeahh.. the popular spot to take your first shot :D

ow. I remember to some frequent questions about how the interactions here.
It's about the university, my quick impression is they serve in an efficient and (can be) an effective way.
for example, this was another surprise for me.
When I had to sign the contract of UTS (University of Twente Scholarship), I thought that the awardee will be gathered together and this and that. You know what? I only went to the students service and signed two copies of contracts. that's it. that's it?? no ceremony?? hahahahha.. yess.. That's what I thought at that time, but then, four months later, the university held the ceremony. :))

and then,
It's about people and surrounding, commonly .. the people are quite helpful and familiar with English.
I asked to someone who can't speak English, yet understand what I said (about direction), and then he struggle to show me the right way to get to the place. What a nice human being!
but, you have to help yourself with the Dutch-English/Indonesia dictionary to find a particular product you need in supermarkets; or to find directions and the right train in train stations.
hahahhaha... yeaahh my favorite word is knoflook (i.e. garlic).
Which word is your favourite? :D

ow.ow.ow. you know what?
I just went out from my room to  toilet,
and my flat-mate said, "fifi, the cake is ready!"
yeyeyeyeyeaayy.. :'))
one more dream came true was living with other students under the same roof top.

If you read my post titled "enschede #2" (p.s. sorry it's in Indonesian language), it actually only a tiny part of the drama series in my dorm :)).
Yes, I had a dream to enjoy cheerfulness of staying together, yet life is not all about happiness.
sometimes, we have to face such an unpredicted situation that leads us to learn something new.

ow. I remember. I also felt surprised when one of my flat-mate said,
"do you feel boring too? I don't think so, since you show a happy face almost many times"

so guys, if you feel afraid of new places, if you think your English is bad, if you are worrying about your future.. and yes, there will be moment that you make mistakes, feel embarrassed, or experience loneliness..

I can say that many students feel the same ways, let yourselves pursue your dream!
Since everything won't stay forever; let's enjoy the moment, stay survive, and do our best :))

That's all guys :)
